On 01/29/2018 at approximately 1530 hours, St. Johnsbury Police responded to a report of a driver going the wrong direction on Pearl Street a One-Way Street in the Town of St. Johnsbury. After investigation the operator <SEALED> was taken into custody on suspicion of DUI and operating after criminal suspension as he was under suspension for several prior DUI’s dating back to 1986. The passenger Stephen Zuraw was taken into custody after he was found to have active conditions of release forbidding him from drinking alcohol.

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: Police received multiple calls reporting a male walking down the middle of Railroad Street from Depot Square Apartments to Rite Aid.  Upon arrival, police located Maurice Carr who identified himself as the person who was walking in traffic.  Due to displaying signs of intoxication, Carr was taken into protective custody.  Carr was cited for Disorderly Conduct and released.

Church, 30 of St Johnsbury, was under Criminal Suspension.  Church was cited to appear on march 6, 2018 to answer the charge.
