Once the warrant was confirmed, I arrested Williams. While searching incident to arrest, I found four yellow pills in her pocket.

The male was identified as Benjamin Payne, 421 of Lyndon. Payne had an active warrant for his arrest and was taken into custody and lodged without incident.

The St. Johnsbury Police Department received a complaint about a burglary of a commercial building located at 623 Concord Avenue. An investigation revealed entry had been forced on the rear of the building and an initial estimate at the value of property taken was approximately $3903 in household goods, electronics, alcohol and cigars. After the investigation, Benjamin Gaughan was located at his residence on Concord Avenue and arrested at about 2130 hours. Gaughan was brought back to the police department. In cooperation with St. Johnsbury Probation & Parole, Gaughan was lodged as a parole violator at Northeast Regional Correctional Facility. He will make his initial court appearance in Caledonia Superior Court on October 27, 2021 at 12:30pm.
