On April 28, 2022 at about 2317 hours, a St. Johnsbury Police Department patrol officer observed a motor vehicle violation on Portland Street. The vehicle was stopped on Elm Street. A passenger in the vehicle, Mikayla Camber, was arrested on an active warrant. She was also found to be out and about in violation of a court ordered nightly curfew. Camber was lodged at Northeast Regional Correctional Facility on $100 bail. She was also issued a citation into Caledonia Superior Court for the violation of conditions of release matter with a court date of June 27, 2022 at 0830 hours.

On 04-27-22 at approximately 1456 hours Lt Mark Bickford of the St Johnsbury PD was conducting roving patrol when he observed a male who he recognized to be the accused Antino Pepper. Lt Bickford had recently learned that Pepper, DOB: 01-17-97 had an active warrant for his arrest. Lt Bickford made contact with Pepper on Elm Street and subsequently took him into custody without incident. Pepper was transported to the PD for processing and then he was escorted to the court for arraignment. At the completion of his arraignment he was released.

Lt Bickford had been looking for Camber as she needed to be served a Notice of Trespass for the Family Dollar. While being served the Notice of Trespass Camber was found to have an active warrant for her arrest as she had failed to appear for arraignment on a pending VCOR charge on 04-25-22. Bail on the warrant had been set at $100.
Camber was taken into custody and transported to the PD on the warrant. She was later issued a new citation for the FTA and will be arraigned on 04-27-22 at 1230.
