SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On 10/25/2022, Operator Gina Barrette, refused to stop for officers as she was pulling out of Maplefields. Lights and sirens were activated. Barrette was civilly suspended, and had prior convictions of license required. Barrette operated through the Village of St Johnsbury, crossing the center line, not stopping at stop signs or blinking red lights. Barrette also reached speeds of approximately 92 mph on Concord Avenue, a posted 30 mph zone. Officers terminated, due to public safety. Barrette was found on October 28, 2022 on Summer Street, St Johnsbury, VT and arrested for the previous charges.

Responding patrol officers located and arrested John Schaaf. A sledgehammer was seized. Schaaf was flash cited into Caledonia Superior Court with an arraignment date of November 7, 2022 at 0830 hours.

Sweeney was later located walking on Memorial Drive at about 0121 hours on October 24, 2022 and cited for this matter. Sweeney was cited into Caledonia County Superior Court with an arraignment date of December 19, 2022 at 0830 hours.

On October 25, 2022 at about 1959 hours, the St. Johnsbury Police Department received a complaint about an impaired man causing a disturbance by running around the road, screaming and petting fire hydrants. Patrol officers located Scott Moore who was found to be in violation of conditions of release. Moore was arrested and lodged at the Northeast Regional Correctional Facility for detoxification. Moore will be arraigned in this matter on December 12, 2022 at 0830 hours.
