On 06/28/2023 at approximately 2231 hours Corporal Steve Hartwell and I were dispatched to 35 Washington Avenue for a report of a truck horn blaring with multiple people outside shouting. Upon arrival Adam Favreau spoke with Corporal Hartwell and I spoke with Katherine Favreau. Adam was arrested for suspicion of DUI and brought back to the police department for fingerprints and photographs. Adam Favreau will face arraignment in this matter on July 16, 2023 at 0830 hours in Caledonia Superior Court.

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On 06/22/2023 Ofc Gerrish and I were patrolling on Memorial Dr, while driving through the parking lot of Twin State Ford we observed a vehicle parked behind the dealership with two occupants in it. We stopped to check and make sure they were alright. Ofc Gerrish and I were getting ready to leave when I noticed that the person in the back was not moving and trying to hide their face from us. We once again got out to investigate further. We asked if she was alright and she advised us that she was. Ofc Gerrish asked if she had any form of Identification on her which she told us she did not. Ofc Gerrish then asked her for her name and DOB which she gave us the name Meagan Kelly and a DOB of (05/23/1993). She also stated that she lived in Florida. The name and DOB she gave us did not come back to anyone in Vermont or Florida. While we were waiting with them a third party arrived and identified her as Tyler Ehmann DOB (05/27/1989). We ran her with dispatch to check for any active warrants and she came back with a warrant. She was arrested for her warrant and issued a citation for providing false reports to law enforcement authorities.

On April 6, 2023, the St. Johnsbury Police Department received a complaint from a man acting as Power of Attorney over an area resident’s finances. He reported that unauthorized and fraudulent charges were posted (or attempted to be charged) to the persons credit card, with many of the transactions occurring at town merchants. After an investigation, Brooke Hornbeck Fielder and Devine Campbell Reid were cited as listed above, with arraignment dates in Caledonia Superior Court of July 24, 2023 at 0830 hours.

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On 06/20/2023 at approximately 2049 hours, Ofc McKendrick Johnson and I were dispatched to a report of an assault at the Domino's on Railroad St. Upon arrival, we made contact with Robert Speed who advised he was assaulted by a male in a green shirt and blue jeans, with an old radio. Speed had a mark on his head where he was struck.

We made contact with Tristan Garcia moments later, who matched the description. Garcia was intoxicated and there was an odor of alcohol emanating from his person. Garcia has conditions of release not to drink alcohol to the extent it interferes with his well-being or others. Garcia was arrested for Simple Assault and Violation of Conditions of Release.

Upon further investigation Corporal Johnson found that Ariya Sweeney had left the residence with another female. Corporal Johnson went to the address at 161 River road and while searching the area found Ariya Sweeney. Ariya Sweeney ran from Corporal Johnson and eventually stopped and was arrested by Corporal Johnson.
