SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On 12/19/2022, I responded to the Star Theatre for a report of Carlos Perez III exchanging a counterfeit $100 for 5 $20 bills. After speaking with Perez III, he gave a sworn statement that he did not know the bill was counterfeit and was exchanging it for someone else. After further investigation, it was found Perez III knew the bill was counterfeit, and lied about another person being involved. Perez III walked away from the Star Theatre with $100, defrauding the Star Theatre. Perez III was arrested for Counterfeiting Paper Money, False Pretenses, Petit Larceny, and False Information to Law Enforcement and released on citation for 3/6/2023 at 0830 hours.

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

On 01-04-2023 Lt Mark Bickford of the St Johnsbury Police Department was dispatched to the Family Dollar located at 716 Railroad Street after it was reported that Ariya Sweeney was inside. Sweeney was a POI in a recent theft of merchandise from the store and management had requested that Sweeney be issued a trespass order for the store and property. Lt Bickford located Sweeney inside the store and subsequently took her into custody without incident on an active warrant for a FTA on a pending Petit Larceny case. Sweeney, DOB: 02-27-2002 was taken to the PD where she was processed on the arrest warrant then escorted across the street to the courthouse for arraignment. Upon completion of her arraignment, Sweeney was transported to the NERCF where she was lodged on $50 dollars bail.

On January 3, 2023 at about 0145 hours, the St. Johnsbury Police Department received a phone complaint of a loud argument with screaming and banging sounds emanating from an apartment. Responding officers made contact with the parties of the disturbance. After an investigation, Kenyattate Raejen Berry of Hammond, LA was arrested for false information to a police officer for providing a false identity. Berry was later released on citation with an arraignment date of March 13, 2023 at 0830 hours in Caledonia Superior Court.

Responding units located Jody Cutter who was arrested and later released on citation with an arraignment date of March 27, 2023 at 0830 hours. Phylicia Fleurie was transported by CALEX to Northern Vermont Regional Hospital. The matter remains under investigation.
