Summary of Incident:
On March 5, 2020, while the St. Johnsbury Police Department was conducting Governor’s Highway Safety Patrol operations, a truck operated by Mr. Joseph M. Ellis of St. Johnsbury, VT was observed to commit motor vehicle violations in the area of Memorial Drive. The vehicle was stopped at the intersection of Old Center Road and Fenton Street. Upon further review, the operator was found to be driving on a license that was criminally suspended and to have a license plate affixed to his truck that was later reported to be stolen. Mr. Ellis was arrested and cited for [EXPUNGED] and Possession of Stolen Property. Mr. Ellis was cited into Caledonia Superior Court to answer the charge on April 20, 2020 at 0830 hours.
