On 09/09/2023 at approximately 21:00 hours, Jeffrey C. Mitchell was stopped for a speeding violation on US Route 5/Memorial Drive in the Town of St. Johnsbury. After investigation he was taken into custody on suspicion of operating under the influence of alcohol. He was cited to appear in Caledonia Court on 09/25/2023 to answer to the charge of DUI 3. He was also issued Vermont Civil Violation Complaints for speeding and operating after suspension.
