While officers were on scene investigating, Jessie Aldrich yelled and used obscene language, and made unreasonable noise. Aldrich was cited, and is scheduled to appear at Vermont Superior Court, Caledonia Criminal Division on 01/28/19 at 0830 hours.

On 11/19/18, at approximately 11:47 PM, the employee notified police that the same female, later identified as Amanda Gravel, was inside the store. Gravel was cited, and is scheduled to appear at Vermont Superior Court, Caledonia Criminal Division on 01/07/19 at 0830 hours.

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:  On 11/16/18, at approximately 1902 hours, officers responded to 48 Eastern Ave. for a report that a female took a gun from a vehicle at Champlain Farms and was walking to confront a female at 48 Eastern Ave. A subsequent investigation found <EXPUNGED> in possession of a firearm. <EXPUNGED> is prohibited from possessing a firearm, as she is a prohibited person with violent crime convictions. <EXPUNGED> was cited, and is scheduled to appear at Vermont Superior Court, Caledonia Criminal Division on 11/19/18 at 1230 hours.

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:  On 11/13/18, at approximately 11:24PM, Officer Sophie Patenaude performed a motor vehicle stop on a black Jeep Compass traveling south on Route 5. A subsequent investigation determined that an occupant of the vehicle, <SEALED>, had an active, extraditable warrant out of New Hampshire. It was also determined that <SEALED> has active conditions of release not to have contact with a female, who was another occupant in the vehicle at the time of the stop, and a curfew to be in his residence from 7:00PM to 7:00AM. <SEALED> was lodged on the warrant, and is scheduled to appear at Vermont Superior Court, Caledonia Criminal Division on 11/14/19 at 1230 hours.

The St. Johnsbury Police Department and other local, state and county law enforcement agencies will participating in the upcoming Thanksgiving Click it or Ticket Campaign. The purpose of this campaign is to make sure that all motorist on Vermont roadways are wearing their safety belts and arriving at their destinations safely. The campaign will run for five days around the Thanksgiving Holiday.

The St. Johnsbury Police Department would like to remind everyone to drive safely and wear your seatbelt to every destination.

Upon further observation, it became apparent that the break light was obstructed by a deer that was strapped to the trunk of the vehicle.  A subsequent investigation determined that Stacey’s privilege to operate a motor vehicle was criminally suspended. Stacey was cited, and is scheduled to appear at Vermont Superior Court, Caledonia Criminal Division on 01/07/19 at 0830 hours.

On 10/24/2018 and 10/25/2018 I received two reports of burglaries one a vehicle and the other a residence. In both cases personal checks were stolen. I then received reports from the complainants that checks from both incidents were attempted to be cashed. The name of the individual on both counts was Shalene Couture. On Friday 11/02/2018 a search warrant was executed on Couture’s apartment, at the conclusion of the warrant, Couture was taken into custody and charged with Burglary, Forgery and False Tokens.

On 10/07/2018 at 0021 hours St. Johnsbury Police responded to a report of gun shots in the area of the Elks Lodge on Western Avenue. Upon arrival no one was located, after investigation and witness statements Curnin was arrested on 11/02/2018. She was charged for firing a hand gun round at an occupied parked vehicle, over a dispute of an unrelated case in which the victim was a witness.
