SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On August 23, 2019 the St Johnsbury Police Department was contacted about a retail theft at the Maplefields in St Johnsbury on the previous evening. A review of the video lead to the arrest of Brian Carr, 40 of Hardwick after he was seen taking merchandise from the store without paying for it. Carr is cited to appear on October 21, 2019 to answer the charge.
