Summary of Incident:
While on patrol conducting Governor’s Highway Safety Program operations, Ofc. Robert Gerrish of the St. Johnsbury Police Department observed a motor vehicle violation. Subsequent investigation revealed the operator of that motor vehicle, Mr. Andrew Baird, was driving on a criminally suspended license, in violation of conditions of release and driving without a valid license (with a prior civil conviction for no license within the past 2 years). Baird was also found to have 2 active arrest warrants. Baird was arrested, processed and cited into Caledonia Superior Court on August 12, 2019 for the above violations and subsequently brought before the Honorable Court on the 2 warrants.
