SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On May 23, 2018 at approximately 18:08 hours, officers of the St. Johnsbury Police Department were dispatched to the ball fields located on Almshouse Rd in St. Johnsbury for a report of a dog bite. A dog owned by Molly MacDonald, age 23, of St. Johnsbury, had bit a 4-year-old child above the eye. CALEX Ambulance and St. Johnsbury Fire Department responded and provided medical assistance to the child who was not transported to the hospital. It was determined that the dog was up-to-date with it's vaccinations and no enforcement action was taken.

St. Johnsbury Police does not release the names of victims of a sex offense, child abuse or neglect, domestic violence or any other crime where the privacy of the individual is protected by law.
