SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:
On October 21, 2022 at about 2136 hours, patrol officers observed a motor vehicle violation on Memorial Drive by St. John Street. The vehicle was stopped. Investigation revealed the operator, Robert Shaw, displayed signs of impairment by a substance other than alcohol. Shaw was arrested for suspicion of DUI Drugs. Shaw was transported to VSP-Derby for a Drug Influence Evaluation administered by Vermont State Police and an evidentiary blood draw obtained at North Country Hospital. Shaw was cited into Caledonia Superior Court regarding this issue with an arraignment date of February 6, 2023 at 0830 hours.
