SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:
A vehicle was stopped on Pleasant Street after it was
observed committing a motor vehicle violation. The operator, Mr. Jared Bradley
of St. Johnsbury was found to be driving on a license that was criminally
suspended. Further investigation revealed the passenger, Melinda Sylvester of St.
Johnsbury had an active felony warrant on original charges of cocaine &
heroin possession ($1,000 bail) as well as a Vermont Department of Corrections
Return on Mittimus for 30 days of jail time owed. Both parties were arrested
and transported to the police department for processing. Bradley will face his
charges in Caledonia Superior Court on September 21, 2020 at 0830 and Sylvester
was lodged at the Northeast Regional Correctional Facility.
