SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:
On 06/24/2020 at approximately
9:30 PM, an aggravated assault that occurred on the evening of 06/20/2020 or
the early morning hours of 06/21/2020 was report to the St. Johnsbury Police.
The report was alleged to have happened at The Fairbank’s Inn located at 401
Western Avenue in St. Johnsbury while both the victim and the accused were
guests. On 06/25/2020, after investigation Jerry Watts 63 of St. Johnsbury was
taken into custody and charged with the crime. He is scheduled to appear in
Caledonia Court on 10/05/2020 to answer to the charge.
