SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: ON January 7, 2024 The St Johnsbury Police Department responded to a report of a male at Maplefields in St Johnsbury who had an active warrant for his arrest. The responding officer located Jude C. Mishke, 55 of Putney in the store. Mischke was taken into custody on his warrant for Furlough Escape, and also subsequently charged with Unlawful Trespass for being at the convenience store and also Aggravate Disorderly Conduct after threatening to kill the arresting officer. Mischke was lodged at the NERCF on his warrant and will appear on February 12, 2024 to answer the new charges.
