SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On 04/02/2022, the St. Johnsbury Police Department responded to several reports throughout the morning in regards of Shari Hitman yelling and screaming at people and standing in the road blocking traffic. At approximately 1305 hours, a report of Hitman threating to shoot a woman’s child. Hitman was located on the Portland Street Bridge where she refused to get out of the road and then resisted arrest and assaulted a Law Enforcement Officer. Hitman was taken into custody and screened by NEKHS and was lodged at Northeast Correctional Complex as an ICP.
