SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:
On July 01, 2022 at 2248 hours, a St. Johnsbury Police Department patrol officer observed a motor vehicle violation on Railroad Street. The vehicle was stopped near 716 Railroad Street. The motorist displayed signs of impairment by a substance other than alcohol. Robert Shaw III was arrested for suspicion of DUI drugs. A Drug Recognition Expert evaluation was obtained with the assistance of the Vermont State Police and an evidentiary blood draw was taken. Shaw was cited into Caledonia Superior Court with an arraignment date of October 3, 2022 at 0830 hours in regards to this matter.
