SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: At 1743 hours, Sgt Lester Cleary of the St Johnsbury Police Department responded to a reported hit and run in the parking lot of Coles Redemption in St Johnsbury. The witness advised that the offender had left in a Morgan Construction vehicle on Portland Street heading east. The subsequent investigation revealed the offender was Eric R. Berry, 34 of Lunenburg. Berry was taken into custody and cited to appear on August 30, 2021 for the offense of driving while criminally suspended.
