SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:
On 07/09/2021, Corporal Steven Hartwell and Officer Robert Gerrish responded to 160 Clarks Avenue in St. Johnsbury for a report of a vehicle that tires had been slashed. Upon Arrival we were supplied photographs and video of the vehicle and the occupants that committed the crime. The vehicle a silver Chevrolet Cobalt was located a short time later behind the Fairbanks Inn. After investigation the operator Joseph Ellis was taken into custody on suspicion of DUI. Upon further review it was learned that Ellis [EXPUNGED]. Ellis was processed and released with a citation to appear in Caledonia Court to answer to the charges of DUI, No license Criminal, Unlawful Mischief and [EXPUNGED].
