SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On the early morning of August 8th, officers of the St Johnsbury Police responded to 545 Lafayette Street for a report of an injured female. Officers arrived and found Brittany Danforth, 29 of St Johnsbury had been assaulted. The subsequent investigation led to the arrest of Ashley Lee, 29 of west Burke for assaulting Danforth. Further investigation led to the arrest to Andrew Davis, 34 of Sutton. Davis was cited to appear on September 13 to answer the charges of Accessory before the fact, Aiding in the commission of a Felony and Larceny from a person.
