SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:
On February 12, 2022 at about 2049 hours, a St. Johnsbury Police Department patrol officer observed a motor vehicle violation on Railroad Street. The truck was stopped. Further investigation revealed the operator (Gingras) displayed signs of impairment due to alcohol and she was subsequently arrested for DUI #3. The vehicle owner, Brandon Rodd, was also arrested for permitting an impaired person to operate a motor vehicle. Gingras was released from the St. Johnsbury Police Department to a sober person on a citation into Caledonia Superior Court to answer the charges of DUI #3 and DUI – Criminal Refusal on February 28, 2022 at 0830 hours. Rodd was released on a citation into Caledonia Superior Court with an arraignment date of April 25, 2022 at 0830 hours.
