SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:
On February 17, 2022 at about 1556 hours, a St. Johnsbury Police Department patrol officer walked into the Walgreens to do some followup investigation when he was approached by Tristan Garcia (23). Garcia asked to speak to the officer, wherein the officer detected signs of impairment. Further investigation revealed Garcia was on active conditions of release to not possess or consume regulated drugs or alcohol and he displayed signs of usage of both. Garcia was arrested. Garcia was eventually released from the St. Johnsbury Police Department into the custody of a sober adult. Garcia was cited into Caledonia Superior Court with a court date of March 28, 2022 at 0830 hours.
