SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:
On 3/15/2022, Ofc Robert Gerrish and I attempted to make contact with Tristan Garcia to issue him a new citation. Garcia took off on foot, and jumped off two 15 foot ledges to avoid us. Garcia was found passed out on Bay Street behind a pile of pallets. Garcia admitted to consuming alcohol, which is a violation of his conditions of release, he was also out past his curfew time, and possessed Marijuana, more condition of release violations. Garcia was placed under arrest, where he continued to resist, bite, kick and spit. Ofc Gerrish was bit in his upper arm, leaving a mark. While back at the police department, Garcia spit blood on my face and neck. Garcia was brought to the hospital for a mental health evaluation.
