SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: An investigation was conducted into a report of false statements being provided to the Caledonia County Court. This brief investigation led to the arrest t of Corey Gilbert, 33, of St. Johnsbury for Obstruction of Justice. Gilbert had filed a request to move a hearing citing the death of his father as the reason for the request. The investigation led to contact with the father , and Gilbert was subsequently cited to appear on January 23, 2023 to answer the charge.
