SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:
On March 21, 2023, at about 2306 hours, the St. Johnsbury Police Department received a complaint about a person riding around on the roof of a Jeep that was driving around in the business district area. The vehicle was located and the roof rider, a 16 year old juvenile, was cited into Family Court for disorderly conduct and issued a Vermont Civil Violation Complaint for illegally clinging to a motor vehicle. The motorist in question was warned against allowing this type of behavior in the future.
