SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On 07/08/2023 at approximately 2234 hours, I was dispatched to the Star Theatre to remove Michael Carpenter. Carpenter was under the influence of alcohol and had no place to go. Carpenter was taken into protective custody to be screened. Carpenter was taken to the hospital upon his request, but once he was discharged was told he was going to detox at the Northeast Correctional Center. Carpenter jumped out of his bed and approached the nurse aggressively. I grabbed onto Carpenter and he kicked me in the leg. Carpenter was transported NECC for detox.
