SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On 07/10/23 at approximately 2021 hours Cpl. Hartwell, Ofc. Guyer and I were dispatched to the baseball field, located on Elm St, for a report of a suspicious person walking in circles that laid down and was not moving. When we arrived, we noticed Michael Alger walking in circles and screaming. Alger was taken into protective custody. He was transported to the hospital for an unrelated wrist injury. It was later found that he had an active set of conditions to include a 24 hour curfew. Alger was cited for violating his conditions of release and lodged at NECC for detox.
