CITY, STATE OF RESIDENCE: Railroad St, St Johnsbury, VT

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On 07/13/2023, Ofc Davis Guyer, Ofc Jasmine Hendry, Lt Mark Bickford and Cpt Jason Gray were all dispatched to a report of a Robbery, at knife point, at Domino's. Dispatch also advised the individual was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt with the word "BOLIO" on the back, sunglasses and a black mask had brandished a knife and attempted to take the money from the register, but was unsuccessful in doing so.

There was a Burglary at Subway on 07/12/2023. Sarah Cowdrey (32) was believed to be the Suspect. There was video surveillance footage from Subway, and it showed the suspect wearing a brown work-style jacket, with a hood, dark-colored pants, dark brown sandals, which Velcro over the middle, black socks with a grey toe, sunglasses and a black face mask.

Ofc Guyer made contact with Sarah Cowdrey (32) in a pull-off behind 438 Railroad St, which is within eye sight of Domino's. Cowdrey was heading in the opposite direction of Domino's and advised she had just come from the railroad tracks. Cowdrey denied any knowledge of the Assault and Robbery at Domino's. Cowdrey was wearing a yellow t-shirt, camo pants with cargo pockets that were rolled up below her knees, dark brown sandals, which Velcro over the middle and black socks with a grey toe. The height, weight, sunglasses, mask, sandals and socks were consistent with the Burglary at Subway as well. Cowdrey was detained until the investigation was concluded.

Cpt Gray and Ofc Hendry reviewed the video surveillance at Domino's. Cpt Gray advised the suspect was wearing camo pants and sent a photo from the video footage. The suspect was wearing a blue hoodie with yellow lettering, camo pants, rolled below the knee, dark brown sandals with black socks, sunglasses and a black face mask. The camo pants and sandals were the same as the ones Cowdrey was wearing.

Cpt Gray and Lt Bickford located the blue hoodie near the railroad tracks. They also found the face mask, sunglasses and a blue handled knife placed on a rail car.

Ofc Guyer placed Cowdrey under arrest for Assault and Robbery at Domino's as well as Burglary and Petit Larceny from Subway. Cowdrey was transported to the Women's Correctional Facility in Chittenden County by Probation and Parole, for violating her Probation. Cowdrey was flash cited into the Vermont Superior Court, Caledonia Unit for Monday 07/17/2023 at 1230 hours.
