SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On 07/09/2023, Ofc Jasmine Hendry, Ofc McKendrick Johnson and I were dispatched to a report of two individuals passed out in a vehicle, at the gas pumps of Maplefields. Upon arrival, we made contact with Christopher Degreenia and Brandy Moses. Degreenia was in operation of a Red Nissan Altima, which was reported stolen on 07/05/2023, by William Debonville. Degreenia was also in violation of his conditions of release, both a 24-hour curfew and not to operate any motor vehicle.
Since the vehicle was reported stolen more than 24 hours before it was recovered, Degreenia was charged with Aggravate Operation Without Owner's Consent (Felony). Being charged with this Felony, made Degreenia a Habitual Offender as he had more than 3 prior Felony Convictions in the State of Vermont.
Degreenia was Flash Cited in the Vermont Superior Court, Caledonia Unit for 07/10/2023 at 1230 hours, facing the charges of Aggravated Operation Without Owner's Consent, Violation of Conditions of Release x2, and Habitual Offender.
