SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:
On January 15, 2022 at 0043, a St. Johnsbury Police Officer observed a speeding vehicle on Memorial Drive between St. John and Tremont Street. The officer attempted to stop the vehicle with the use of emergency blue lights and siren but the vehicle failed to stop. The vehicle was stopped on Cliff Street near Central Street. The operator, Lily Therrien, was arrested for attempting to elude and later released from the St. Johnsbury Police Department on a citation into Caledonia Superior Court for March 14, 2022 at 0830 hours. Therrien was also issued various Vermont Civil Violation Complaints totaling $940 in waiver fines and 15 points. The car was hauled away by McKay’s towing out of Lunenberg.
