SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:
On April 4, 2023 at about 2146 hours, a St. Johnsbury Police Department patrol officer stopped a motor vehicle for a speeding violation on Old Center Road. The operator, Irene Devereaux (25), was found to display signs of alcohol impairment. She was subsequently arrested for suspicion of DUI and later released into the custody of a sober adult. Devereaux was cited into Caledonia Superior Court with an arraignment date of April 24, 2023 at 0830 hours.
