SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:
On April 15, 2023 at about 1723 hours, a St. Johnsbury Police Department patrol officer observed a group of suspicious people walking on the railroad tracks. Gary Bolton was located, who was known to be the subject of several outstanding felony warrants. Bolton was arrested on four warrants for failure to appear on the following original charges:
Warrant #1: Grand Larceny, Unlawful Mischief over $1000 (x2) (Caledonia Superior Court)
Warrant #2: Fentanyl Trafficking, Violation of Conditions of Release (Caledonia Superior Court)
Warrant #3: Buy, Sell, Receive Stolen Property Over $900, Unlawful Mischief Over $1000 (x2), Grand Larceny (x2), Violation of Conditions of Release (Caledonia Superior Court)
Warrant #4: Petit Larceny, Unlawful Mischief (Chittenden Superior Court).
Bolton was lodged at the Northeast Regional Correctional Facility on $3,200 bail in regards to these matters.
