SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:
A search warrant was granted by the Honorable Court and the vehicle was searched, with the assistance of the Vermont State Police. A bag containing suspected fentanyl, crack cocaine and Buprenorphine was located beneath one of the seats. Farnham and Carey were located, arrested and later released on citations for the above violations. They will answer the charges in Caledonia Superior Court on September 20, 2021 at 0830. On the above date and time, a St. Johnsbury Police Department officer observed a motor vehicle violation on Hastings Hill. The vehicle was stopped around the 600 block of Summer Street. The vehicle was found to be operated by Jack Granger in violation of a 24 hour curfew restricting him to an address in Concord, VT as well as while under criminal suspension due to DUI. Granger was found to be in possession of a suspected depressant/stimulant or narcotic substance which was seized. The vehicle was seized pending application for a search warrant. Granger was later released on a citation into Caledonia Superior Court to answer the charges on August 23, 2021 at 0830 hours. Further updates will be made if needed.
