SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

On the above date and time, a St. Johnsbury Police Department patrol officer observed a motor vehicle violation on Railroad Street. The vehicle was stopped at the intersection of Railroad and Portland Streets. The operator was Dylan Brink. The passenger identified herself as Cheyanne Steady. Further investigation revealed that Nikki Roy impersonated Cheyanne Steady (at Brink’s behest) in order to deflect the investigation away from the fact that Brink was with Roy in violation of active conditions of release. Brink was located the next day on Bay Street and arrested. Roy reported to the St. Johnsbury Police Department on June 4, 2021 and received a citation. Both were released from the police department on citations to the Caledonia Superior Court on September 20, 2021 at 0830.
