SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:
A St. Johnsbury Police Department patrol officer observed a motor vehicle equipment violation May 29, 2021 at 2212 hours. The vehicle was stopped at Railroad and Pearl Streets. A passenger in the vehicle was found to have relocated here from Florida and is required to register as a sex offender. As of June 16, 2021, the passenger, Mr. Bruce Abar, had not yet completed the registration requirements of the Vermont Sex Offender Registry. He was located on Moose River Drive and arrested. Mr. Abar was released on a citation to Caledonia Superior Court for August 2, 2021 at 0830 hours.
