SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:
A St. Johnsbury Police Department patrol officer noticed a vehicle bearing an altered inspection sticker and other motor vehicle violations on Railroad Street. The vehicle was stopped on Portland Street near Caledonia Street. The operator, Matthew Curschmann of Concord, VT, was found to be [EXPUNGED] and with a prior civil conviction in the past 2 years. Further investigation also revealed he was in possession of an alcoholic beverage when he was prohibited from having by active court ordered conditions of release. Curschmann was released from the scene on a citation. Curschmann was cited into Caledonia Superior Court on August 23, 2021 at 0830 hours regarding this case.
