SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:
On June 14, 2022 at about 2003 hours, a St. Johnsbury Police Department patrol officer observed a motor vehicle violation on Western Avenue at the intersection with Summer Street. The vehicle was stopped as it pulled into Maplefields. Further investigation revealed the operator, Steven Beane of West Danville, VT, displayed signs of impairment by alcohol. Beane was arrested and later released into the custody of a sober adult. Beane will be arraigned in this matter on June 27, 2022 at 0830 hours in Caledonia Superior Court.
