SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: During the week ending January 28, 2022, several checks were written from a closed account for the Summerville Neighborhood Association. The ensuing investigation determined that Michelle Deaette, 30, now of Newport, passed two forged checks and that Mark Savary, 54 of Concord passed at least 5 others. Both have been cited to appear in Caledonia County Superior Court to answer the charges. Deaette will appear on June 13, 2022 and Savary will appear on June 27, 2022.
