SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:
On May 2, 2022 at about 1730 hours, a town resident walked into the police department to report that he found out he did not have his CashApp visa card anymore and believes he left it at the bank when he was getting money from the ATM. He also complained that after this occurred, a female requested $150 from him via CashApp and later attempted to use said card at a local business. Hillary Hoffman was arrested, processed and released on a citation into Caledonia Superior Court with an arraignment date of June 27, 2022 at 0830 hours. She was also instructed to contact her probation officer at St. Johnsbury Probation and Parole and that agency was apprised of the situation.
