SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:
On May 6, 2022 at about 1848 hours, a St. Johnsbury Police Department patrol officer observed Joseph Ellis driving a vehicle on Costa Avenue. Ellis was stopped on River Road as the officer knew Ellis was not to be driving a motor vehicle. Ellis was found to have violated conditions of release preventing him from driving a vehicle, consuming alcohol and also was found to be driving a vehicle without a license and with a prior civil conviction for the same within the past 2 years. Ellis was arrested and later released to another adult at the police department with a citation into Caledonia Superior Court with an arraignment date of June 27, 2022 at 0830 hours.
