On 03/11/2019 at approximately 1715 hours, The St. Johnsbury Police Department executed a search warrant at 18 Spring Street in the Town of St. Johnsbury. The purpose of the search warrant was to locate and take into custody Shawn Rich (DOB 04/20/1978) and Steven Simonds (DOB 02/07/1978). Both men had active warrants for their arrest and been evading police.

Simonds was located in an upstairs apartment and taken into custody. Both men were lodged at Northeast Regional Correctional Facility. <EXPUNGED> the owner of the residence and Rich’s girlfriend was cited In Caledonia Court to answer to charges of Resisting Arrest, False Information to a Law Enforcement Officer and Hindering.
