On 03/08/2020 at approximately 0150 hours, St. Johnsbury Police received a phone call requesting assistance from an occupant of 475 Pearl Street, St. Johnsbury, VT. Upon police arrival, a person in the residence was found to have a knife wound to the leg and was transported by ambulance to the hospital. After investigation, Ashley N. Beckwith was arrested & charged with 1st degree Aggravated Domestic Assault with a Deadly Weapon. Beckwith was released by the Honorable Court on conditions of release and she will answer the charge in Caledonia County Superior Court on 03/09/2020 at 1230.

Usiatynski was cited for Leaving the Scene of an Accident – Property Damage. Total damage to Ms. O’Connor’s 2017 Ford CMX was estimated at $1,277. On March 5, 2020, while the St. Johnsbury Police Department was conducting Governor’s Highway Safety Patrol operations, a truck operated by Mr. Joseph M. Ellis of St. Johnsbury, VT was observed to commit motor vehicle violations in the area of Memorial Drive. The vehicle was stopped at the intersection of Old Center Road and Fenton Street.  Upon further review, the operator was found to be driving on a license that was criminally suspended and to have a license plate affixed to his truck that was later reported to be stolen. Mr. Ellis was arrested and cited for [EXPUNGED] and Possession of Stolen Property. Mr. Ellis was cited into Caledonia Superior Court to answer the charge on April 20, 2020 at 0830 hours.
