Summary of Incident

On 04-27-22 at approximately 1456 hours Lt Mark Bickford of the St Johnsbury PD was conducting roving patrol when he observed a male who he recognized to be the accused Antino Pepper. Lt Bickford had recently learned that Pepper, DOB: 01-17-97 had an active warrant for his arrest. Lt Bickford made contact with Pepper on Elm Street and subsequently took him into custody without incident. Pepper was transported to the PD for processing and then he was escorted to the court for arraignment. At the completion of his arraignment he was released.

Summary of Incident

On 04-26-22 Lt Mark Bickford of the St Johnsbury PD was conducting roving patrol when he located the accused Mikayla Camber, DOB: 11-08-01 walking on Maple Street in St Johnsbury. Lt Bickford had been looking for Camber as she needed to be served a Notice of Trespass for the Family Dollar. While being served the Notice of Trespass Camber was found to have an active warrant for her arrest as she had failed to appear for arraignment on a pending VCOR charge on 04-25-22. Bail on the warrant had been set at $100.

Camber was taken into custody and transported to the PD on the warrant. She was later issued a new citation for the FTA and will be arraigned on 04-27-22 at 1230.

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

On February 27, 2022, the St. Johnsbury Police Department received a complaint from a woman at the Dunkin Donuts on Railroad Street that she had been scammed out of money by a person she had communicated with over CraigsList. She reported paying money to this person after responding to an advertisement regarding the sale of kittens. The seller was reportedly located in Vermont. The victim reported being told by the alleged scammer to meet her at the Dunkin Donuts to receive the kitten she paid for but neither the cat nor the other party showed. An investigation revealed the victim’s money had actually been sent to a female in Central Falls, Rhode Island. An arrest warrant regarding the above violations will be requested from the Honorable Court.

The St. Johnsbury Police Department would like to remind residents to not send money to unknown parties over the internet before receiving goods or services. If a physical meet-up is required to obtain the merchandise, the money can always be exchanged at the time of sale, rather than sent in advance.

The cards were found on the ground on Portland Street. The St. Johnsbury Police Department opened an investigation, with the assistance of Vermont Adult Protective Services, which uncovered suspicious usage of the woman’s bank and EBT accounts. On April 12, 2022, Brittany Clark was located and cited for the above crimes. She was cited into Caledonia Superior Court with an arraignment date of June 27, 2022 at 0830 hours. The investigation continues into this matter and further updates will be issued if needed.

Lt Bickford had learned that Vieira, DOB: 06-22-93 was the subject of an active arrest warrant. Vieira was subsequently taken into custody without incident by Lt Bickford on the outstanding warrant. Vieira was transported to the PD where his fingerprints and photographs were taken. Once completed Vieira was taken to the NERCF where he was lodged on his outstanding warrant.

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

On March 31, 2022 at about 1733 hours, St. Johnsbury Police patrol officers noticed an open exterior door at a residential building on Cote Court when they were on the street in regards to a separate incident. A search of the apartment building basement revealed Nicolas Balch, who was present without any lawful purpose. Officers also found property on scene which showed [SEALED] had been present and also suggested she had been in violation of her conditions of release and in possession of a depressant, stimulant and/or narcotic substance. Balch was arrested and flash cited into Caledonia Superior Court for a court date of April 1, 2022 at 12:30pm. [SEALED]’s whereabouts are unknown and an arrest warrant has been sought from the Honorable Court.

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On 03/30/2022, the St. Johnsbury Police Department received a report of an incident that had occurred in the evening of 03/29/2022, involving a female that had entered an apartment on Railroad Street asking for money and shoved an elderly male into a table and stole a container with approximately $30 to $40 worth of quarters. With further investigation, the female was identified as Brittany Clark and she was located at approximately 1220 hours on 03/30/2022, and was arrested for the offense of assault and robbery, and petit larceny.
