An officer on patrol noticed a motor vehicle violation at the intersection of Pleasant Street and St. John Street. The vehicle was stopped on Pleasant Street. The operator identified herself as Miranda Chaput of Burke, Vermont. However, further investigation revealed she ([EXPUNGED]) was an imposter who used another persons identity to hide the fact she was driving without a license. The vehicle was searched and a regulated drug was found. This violated the passenger, Frankie Gonzalez’s, conditions of release that he not possess a regulated drug without a prescription. Frankie Gonzalez was released from the scene on a citation for Violation of Conditions of Release, with a court date of December 14, 2020. [EXPUNGED] was arrested and brought to the police department for processing for the crimes of Identity Theft, False Reports to Law Enforcement & Driving without a license. [EXPUNGED] was released from the police department on a citation for court for December 7, 2020 @ 10:00 in Caledonia Superior Court.

Haines was in the company of Victoria Sherman (29) who had previously been issued a notice of trespass against returning to the property. Both were arrested. Further investigation revealed that Tyrone Perry (25) of Brownington, VT was accompanying Christian Haines at this location. Perry was out in violation of conditions of release requiring him to be on a curfew at an address in Brownington, VT. Perry was cited and will answer the charge in Caledonia Superior Court on December 14, 2020 @ 1000.

Upon further review, the two occupants of the vehicle in question were found to be Carlos Perez and Christian Haines, both of St. Johnsbury, VT. Haines was out in violation of his court ordered curfew and was cited for violation of conditions of release. Perez had been previously issued a notice of trespass from the Maplefields facility and was therefore cited for unlawful trespass. Both will answer their charges in Caledonia Superior court on November 30, 2000 @ 1000.
