On 02/19/2024 at approximately 2150 hours, I observed Alex Becker walking on Eastern Avenue,  I am familiar with Becker from past police involvements and was aware that he had a 24 Curfew.  Becker’s curfew was confirmed.  I arrested Becker who was then ordered held on $200.00 Bail.

On 02/18/2024 at approximately 0921 hours,   I had just returned after dropping Mason off at the correctional facility on his warrant and was driving back into town when I observed Heather Smith Walking on Railroad Street near Jiffy Mart in St. Johnsbury.  I am familiar with Smith through past police involvements.  Smith had an active warrant at this time.  I arrested and Smith. I took the correctional facility where she was held on her warrant.

On 02/18/2024 at approximately 0846 hours, I was on Patrol In St. Johnsbury on Portland Street When I observed Scott Mason leaving a residence.  I am familiar with Mason through past police involvements and was aware that he had an active warrant out of Essex County.  I arrested Mason on his warrant and took to the correctional facility where he was held on his warrant.

On 02/11/2024 at approximately 0029 hours, I was dispatched to a large bar fight occurring outside of the Whiskey Den located at 48 Eastern Avenue in St. Johnsbury. 

I arrived on scene and found people on the ground engaging in a physical altercation with each other.  I stopped the altercations.  One of the pugilists was identified as David Noyes.   Noyes had an active warrant for domestic assault ($1000.00 Bail).  I arrested Noyes.

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:  On 02/10/2024 at approximately 19254 hours, St. Johnsbury Police responded to an address on Pearl Street in St. Johnsbury  Vermont on a report of a female with lacerations to her head.  While at this residence another female who was pretending to be asleep on the couch despite the loud noise of multiple firemen and rescue personnel and police  in the same small room.  The female on the couch was recognized as Jessica Norrie.  Norrie was known to have  an active warrant.  I arrested Norrie on her warrant.

VIOLATION: Leaving the Scene of a Crash, Driving with Criminally Suspended license

ACCUSED: Patrick Salisbury                                                                                         

AGE:  32

CITY, STATE OF RESIDENCE: St Johnsbury, VT

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:  At 0811 hours, the St Johnsbury Police responded to a reported motor vehicle crash at the intersection of Portland Street and Railroad Street in St Johnsbury.  One driver remained with their vehicle and the other fled following the incident.  The ensuing investigation into the identity of the second driver led to the discovery of the vehicle at 450 Portland Street in St Johnsbury.  The driver was identified as Patrick Salisbury, 32 of St Johnsbury, who turned himself in a the St Johnsbury police Department later in the morning.  Salisbury was issued a citation to appear on March 25, 2024 to answer the charges of Driving with a Criminally Suspended license and for Leaving the Scene of a Crash.  No one was injured in this crash and both vehicle left the scene under their own power.

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:  Officer's Report of Corporal George Johnson

On 02/06/2023, at approximately 2010 hours, St. Johnsbury Police Department received multiple calls of a male wearing khaki shorts and grey shirt smashing the windows out of the RCT bus stop  on Portland Street in St. Johnsbury Vermont.   I responded to the bus stop and witness pointed to Michael Farnsworth who was wearing a grey shirt and khakis shorts standing behind an adjacent building.  Farnsworth then fled on foot behind the building traveling towards elm street.  I pursued Farnsworth as he ran and intercepted him on Elm Street.  Farnsworth resisted arrest and had to be taken to the ground.  Farnsworth was placed in handcuffs and arrested.  Witnesses provided me with cell phone video of Farnsworth smashing out the glass with a brick.      

I transported Farnsworth to the St. Johnsbury police department and  later he was transported to the correctional facility by St. Johnsbury Parole and Probation. And is cited for court on 3/18/2024 at 0830 hours.

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:
Officer's Report of Corporal George Johnson
On 02/05/2024 at approximately 1834 hours, I was on patrol traveling south on Bay Street in St. Johnsbury in the area of 311 Bay Street when I observed two individuals walking side by side heading towards the woods near 311 Bay Street. I drove up next to the individuals and recognized them as Donald Hitman and Sabrina Monfette. I am familiar with both Monfette and Hitman from past police involvements and was aware that there were court conditions of release preventing contact between them.
I contacted dispatch who confirmed that Hitman had active conditions of release stating that he must not have contact with Monfette and that he must stay three hundred feet away from her. Dispatch also confirmed that Monfette had active conditions stating she must not have contact with Hitman.
Both were arrested and searched incident to arrest. In Hitman's pocket a substance suspected to be cocaine and which later field-tested positive as such was found.
