After investigation it was learned the male identified as Ryan Monica had two felony warrants from the State of New Hampshire.

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:  On October 15, 2023 the St Johnsbury Police were dispatched to the vicinity of Portland Street and Concord Avenue following reports of a male in a blue shirt carrying a black backpack was acting erratically and also had been yelling at customers near White Market.  After a brief search of the area, the suspect was located and identified as Jeremy M. Bathalon, 34 of St. Johnsbury.  Bathalon was found to have an active arrest warrant and was taken into custody without incident.  While processing Bathalon, officers learned he had active conditions of release imposing a curfew from 1300 hours to 0800 hours daily.  Bathalon was lodged on the warrant for lack of 200 dollar bail and cited to appear on November 13, 2023 to answer the charge of Violation of Conditions of Release-Curfew

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:  On October 5, 2023 at 1235 hours, The St Johnsbury police responded to Subway on Federal Street after a caller reported a purse stolen from their vehicle.  A neighbor had observed the crime and captured photos of the suspect. Later identified as Benjamin T. Heath, 33 of St. Johnsbury.  Heath was located approximately 45 minutes later and taken into custody after he resisted arrest.  Heath was cited to appear on November 13, 2023 to answer the charge of petit larceny forma Motor Vehicle and Resisting arrest.

Both parties were released on citations to appear on October 30, 2023 in Caledonia Superior Court.
