On 02/24/2020 at approximately 2041 hours, St. Johnsbury Police received a phone call from a concerned neighbor of an assault in progress at 22 Washington Avenue in the Town of St. Johnsbury. After investigation, Rustin P. Masure was charged with 1st degree Aggravated Domestic Assault,  Obstruction of Justice & [EXPUNGED] after he was found to have assaulted a household or family member. Masure was cited into the Caledonia County Superior Court to answer the charge on 02/26/2020 at 1230.

On 02/21/2020 at approximately 1702 hours, St. Johnsbury Police, with assistance of the Drug Enforcement Administration and the Caledonia County Sheriff’s Department, served a search warrant on a residence at 380 Summer Street. Narcotics and cash were seized at the premises and two people were arrested. Tyler Ehmann of St. Johnsbury, VT and Courtney C. Gray of Bronx, NY were taken into custody. Updates will be forthcoming during this ongoing investigation.
